On 21st March 2014 Mundubbera joined the ranks of thousands of cities across the world that have hosted TEDx events. The inaugural TEDxMundubbera 2014 brought ideas, thinkers, entrepreneurs and unbelievable stories to our small Australian town. This independently organised event, operated under a licence from TED, will bring you speakers who will inspire you & touch your heart, expand your mind & fuel your imagination, challenge your values & question your conscience, laugh with you & share their beliefs and in their unique way prompt a call to action.
In 2014 TEDxMundubbera examined the disadvantage advantage, life after change, and entrepreneurial spirit leaving you excited by new ideas and a renewed perception of small towns.
We look forward to bringing you the next TEDxMundubbera event towards the end of 2015 with a tentative date planned for 17th October 2015 pending licence renewal.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxMundubbera, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxMundubbera event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
